Hey Frase Supports the March for Babies

Hey Frase is happy to announce our partnership with March of Dimes for their March for Babies event on May 4 at Nationals Park. March of Dimes is a champion for families, fighting for the health of moms and babies in communities like ours and across the country.

More than 380,000 babies are born prematurely in the U.S. each year—that’s one baby every two seconds. Premature birth and its complications are the largest contributors to infant death in the United States and globally. And right here, in our own community, Washington, DC’s Premature Birth Report Card is a “D,” and the preterm birth rate among black women is 58% higher than the rate among all other women.

The March for Babies event is a chance for DC to band together in the fight for the health of all moms and babies. Here at Hey Frase, we believe that when you participate in the March for Babies, you make a statement about the world you want to live in—one in which healthy moms and strong babies are a priority for us all.

We are excited to be play a role in helping the DC community come together and rally around this amazing mission, which continues to help women and babies right here in our hometown. In the fight for every baby to have the best possible start to life, we hope to help the DC community to march together as we hope for a day when all moms and babies are healthy, remember those babies we have lost, and celebrate our community and the NICU graduates.

For the March, you’ll walk 3 miles alongside 5,000 other supporters throughout the Navy yard neighborhood of Washington, D.C. The day includes music, family fun area, moon bounce, face painting, and your team will be featured on the parks Jumbotron as you cross our home plate finish!
